Ballerina A One Woman Play, Based on the inspiring true story of Stephanie Herman, a Balanchine ballerina who perseveres through rejection and injury to rise to the top of the ballet world during the 1960’s and 70’s.
My Personal Story: In 1973, while performing as a Principal Ballierna, I was injured and introduced to Carola Trier, the first disciple of Joseph Pilates for rehabilatation. Carola & Pilates not only healed me, but helped me to become stronger then I was before my injury. Pilates has helped me throughout my Ballerina years dancing world-wide with legendaries Rudolf Nureyev and Mikail Baryshnkov.
I am now a teacher, giving back o ohers who are injured or who just want to learn how to optimize their potentials, with my Pilates CoreTique and Pilates Ballet techniques based on the wonderful education I have learned from masters and from my own body.
When I work with people, I try to understand their body as if it was mine. I love to help and educate my clients how simple it is to re-program your body neuropathically and neuro-muscularly.
