Depending on your Personal Fitness Assessment and what Stephanie has prescribed for you, there are many classes and workshops you can choose from. Some people start with foundational classes and move on to more difficult classes as their training progresses. No matter which class you select, you will find a workout based on the principles of The Innovative FitnessProgram, Stephanie's extensive knowledge, and her 35 years of teaching experience. And no matter which class you choose, you will enjoy a supportive group experience that is fun and invigorating, with moving, ecletic music to inspire your soul.
Brain-to-Body Pilates Matwork:
This course teaches the fundamentals of The Innovative Fitness Program. A six week series of attendance is recommended. Why? It takes six weeks of practice and repetition for your brain to identify, isolate, and remember proper patterns of movement. Think of your training as a greenhouse nursery -- at this stage you are planting a seed, and, after a six-week period of germination, you will see a tiny, green sprout emerge. Over time, with sustained class work, you will see that sprout turn into a bud full of promise, eventually to blossom into a beautiful flower. A little consistency and patience will get you there. In this class you will learn how to strengthen your opposing body stabilizers to ensure proper posture and alignment through Pilates Matwork using rollers, rings, and blocks.
Pilates Ballet® Fundamentals:
A therapeutic workout that focuses on kinetic awareness and developing a ballerina's statuesque line, grace, balance and inner strength using barre, foam roller, balls and blocks to chisel and define beautiful muscles. The workout is set to music to bring out the dancer in you.
The Barre Workout:
This course builds on The Innovative Fitness Program to incorporate movement and floorwork into core and balance strengthening exercises. It focuses on muscle isolation and proper alignment in a "dance to fit" cardiovascular workout.
Pilates Ballet Tune Up: Small group personalized workouts
This class will focus on each individuals fitness goals. Before each class you can send an email with your personalized needs. Class is limited to 6 people. You will see major changes every month.
